About dadworks

I founded DadWorks after I became a Dad to my beautiful baby girl. Only then did I fully appreciate the importance of work. Both the security and opportunity it provides for a family.

As a new Dad, spending time apart from my little one while at work, is hard. The only way I can justify this in my own mind is that when I come home to look into my baby’s eyes, I know that the time I spent away from her, at work, was maximised and helped provide for the family for now and for the future.

Since becoming a Dad, I have run into 3 other dads who helped give me fire to start DadWorks:

The feeling that I could use my experience to help men just like these grew until I took action. DadWorks was born.

  • was at a mothers group meetup. He revealed he was ‘between jobs’ and I could hear from the wobble in his voice that for many reasons, this was not ideal.

  • was a single dad, caring for and providing for his 2 kids alone. He was unable, or felt that way at least, to take a leap in his career, even though he knew it would pay off long term.

  • was separated from his partner and had found himself homeless. His daughter was visiting him after school and they were playing together in the street.

I’m grateful to be able to help, with the experience I have gained:
